Weekly Wrap Up

Hi, people of the world and welcome to the first weekly wrap up EVER!

This fortnight in class we have been learning about 3D shapes and how to interpret them. We are building shapes to see how they are made and to get all the right answers. In writing we have been publishing our writing we started two weeks ago. All the Year 6 students have written what their Year 6 legacy is going to be and what each person leaves behind in the school. Next week we might be learning about our E.R.P. and starting our proposal forms. E.R.P. stands for Educational Research Project. A proposal means you have a set of questions you answer about your interest. And our teachers say, “it is not about your interest. It is about the learning intentions.” Learning intentions is what we we have to link our interest to.

So there you have it. I have summed up what we have done this week and what we might learn next week. And as we have started to say, That’s all folks!

10 ways to stay safe online

Why do we need to stay safe online? You need to stay safe online because you could get hacked or robbed. Here are 10 ways to stay safe online:

1. Never share your password because people could use it to hack your pages on Facebook or Instagram.

2. Don’t give out your address because people could find out where you live and they could rob you.

3. Never use your parents credit card to buy things off the Internet.

4. Free offers are never free. You will have to pay in some kind of way.

5. Always read the terms and conditions before you buy something.

6. Always make a strong password with letters and numbers so people can’t hack you.

7. Always ask your parents if you want to sign up for something.

8. Don’t put your name as your password, it is too easy to hack.

9. Never use symbols or Emogi in your password because you can’t access them on the computer.

10. dont use capital letters because people might think you are shouting, and NEVER and a exclamation mark after it.

If you follow these rules you will stay safe online and you will be cyber safe in the cyberspace network.

Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC)

On the 29th of October, we went to MSAC. MSAC is a place where you can play sports,  swim or study. We were split up into three groups. We first played soccer and basket ball. We were all at the same place at the one time. We also played badminton. Then we went into the pool zone. The activities we did were the water slide, the wave pool and the inflatable. It was so cool! On the way back to school, we went through a tunnel. It was the best day ever.
